For this Weekend only get Sam and Max Season 1 for only $14.99 on everyone’s favorite game platform, Steam. each episode usually sells for $8.99 each for $29.99 for the whole season. This is a pretty awesome deal. there’s not much else to say about the deal. if you like Sam and Max, and haven’t had a chance to play this game now be the time. Otherwise, you can always check out the game on Gametap. Either way, this game is worth checking out for sure.
In the past few months the new digital download service GoG.com has got a lot of press for being a service that focuses not on new games, but rather on older games that don’t get the attention of most digital download markets. It’s a cool service that offers a lot of things that gamers want. Of course one thing all gamers want his great games. To that end, they have signed the Unreal franchise to distribute some of the older games. The games include Unreal Gold and Unreal Tournament: Game of the Year Edition both are available for download and purchase now for $9.99. Soon, Unreal II: The Awakening Special Edition and Unreal Tournament 2004: Editor’s Choice Edition will also be added. this is great news for what seems to be turning into an absolutely fantastic service.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past 10 years, you’ve probably had a chance to play Half-Life. But on the off chance that you haven’t, Valve is offering the game for just $.98. This is to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Half-Life. The deal goes until Friday at noon. of course if you haven’t managed to pick up a copy of half-life by now then you probably haven’t bought almost any copy of Half-Life two either since Valve has done their best to include half-life and the remake of Half-Life and the source engine known as Half-Life: Source in just about every bundle they could think of since they launched their Steam platform. The expansion to the well-known computer benchmark widowmaker, Crysis, dubbed Crysis Warhead has been getting solid reviews and also is on sale for the low-low price of $20 on Amazon.com. It’s not a half bad deal if you are just itchin to get your Crysis on. Perhaps by now your machine can handle this game, but who knows. Anyhow, it’s not a half bad deal if fps’s are your thing. However, if you’re looking for the game of the holiday season, you might want to check out Farcry 2 or Fallout 3. Both of those have been getting excellent reviews, so it might be a tossup as to which would be the better “deal”.
Check this out, this weekend the Rockstar Games collection is 50% off on Steam. It’s really a pretty awesome deal. The collection includes Grand Theft Auto, Grand Theft Auto 2, Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Max Payne, Max Payne 2, Midnight Club 2, Manhunt, and Wild Metal. For $30, you really can’t beat this collection. The GTA games are obviously great games, but I’m a sucker for Max Payne. Bullet time and a kind of film noir story are just too much fun to pass up. Anyway, the deal I think ends on September 29th, so if you want some cheap, fun games, you shouldn’t pass this up.
