While Warhammer Online was still in development, they had to cut four of the classes so that the game would be balanced and could ship on time. This is quite common in game development, but as always fans tend to get upset when they think they aren’t getting the ultimate game they always wanted. Luckily, Mythic Entertainment cares enough about their game to keep working until they get it just right.

In the name of progress, they are going to be adding the Black Guard and the Knight of the Blazing Sun classes in a patch in December. I think it’s very cool that they are willing to not only cut thing that aren’t going to make their game fantastic, but that they will bring out classes and content once it is ready says a lot about their company.
