This week Blizzard annouced that Wrath of the Lich King is going to launch November 13th, 2008. This is the second expansion for World of Warcraft and it looks like it’s going to be a real blockbuster. The original launch of World of Warcraft four years ago was so big that Blizzard was caught flat-footed. Servers were overloaded and for a time it seemed that the game was too successful. Eventually, Blizzard caught up. By the time the first expansion launched the server problems all seemed to be smoothed out and now the game has over 10 million subscribers. Anyhow, WoW is a great game that is completely worth checking out. It’s not perfect, but it’s always getting better.
